Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the discoverathens.com website (the "Service") operated by Elite Tours.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

PAYMENT OF SERVICES

Elite Tours requires an 18% down-payment for all tour services in order to secure your reservation. A deposit is not required for transfer services that are not combined with a tour (unless requested otherwise).

We accept the following forms of payment:

  1. Cash (USD or EUR)
  2. Credit Card (MasterCard & Visa)
  3. Paypal

It is strongly advised that you use Paypal to securely send us the down-payment. The remaining balance can be paid in full with cash or credit card upon meeting your driver.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Your Paypal receipt from the down-payment confirms your booking along with a separate email confirmation.

For services where a deposit is not required, we will email you a formal confirmation with all the agreed services that you wish to book which will include pick-up times, dates, destinations and contact info.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Elite Tours follows a strict cancellation policy.

Your down-payment is non-refundable if one of the following events are true:

  1. Your cancellation is requested 7 days before your reserved date (or anything less than that)
  2. You fail to show up at the agreed pick up point

You will receive a full refund of your down-payment if the following event is true:

  • Your cancellation is requested at least 8 days before your reserved date

Please allow us a maximum of 7 days to credit back your downpayment through Paypal.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY SERVICE?

Your confirmed booking includes the following:

  • Professional English speaking licensed driver/guide
  • Taxes
  • Parking fees
  • Tolls
  • Gas

WHAT'S EXCLUDED FROM MY SERVICE?

Your confirmed booking does not include the following:

  • Food
  • Hotel accommodation
  • Gratuities
  • Entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites
  • Licensed tour guide at the archaeological sites

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LICENSED TOUR GUIDE & DRIVER GUIDE

Your professional driver/guide is not allowed by law to accompany you into the archaeological sites. However, they will be able to provide you with valuable information on the way to each site. If you would like to have a licensed tour guide with you on the archaeological sites, one can be provided for you at an extra cost. Please contact us for pricing information.

AIRPORT PICK UPS

If you have booked an airport transfer with us, please note that your driver will be waiting for you by your gate at the agreed arrival time. If your flight is delayed, your driver will wait for you up to 1 hour. If 1 hour passes without any prior communication about your status, the driver will leave the airport and Elite Tours will assume your reservation has been canceled, which will result in losing your down-payment. For any last minute changes to your flight please call or email us at the cell number provided in your confirmation email.

PORT PICK UPS

If you have booked a port transfer with us, please note that your driver will be waiting for you by your ship's docking area at the agreed pick-up time. If 1 hour passes without any prior communication about your status, the driver will leave the port and Elite Tours will assume your reservation has been canceled, which will result in losing your down-payment. For any last minute changes to your schedule please call or email us at the cell number provided in your confirmation email.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES

Please note that for certain archaeological sites (i.e. the Acropolis), vehicles are not allowed to drive up to the entrance. The only exception to that rule is if there is a handicapped person in your party (i.e. someone who needs wheelchair access). We would like to repeat that, your driver/guide is not allowed to accompany you into any archaeological site.
